QCE Physical Education Studies

Subscribing to ReviseOnline QCE Physical Education Studies course (Units 1&2 and Units 3&4) gives you access to an extensive range of revision material, which can deliver a significant boost to your ATAR score. In Unit 1, students develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles underpinning their learning of movement sequences and how they can enhance movement from a biomechanical perspective. In Unit 2, students broaden their perspective by determining the psychological factors, barriers and enablers that influence their performance and engagement in physical activity. In Unit 3, students enhance their understanding of factors that develop tactical awareness and influence ethical behaviour of their own and others’ performance in physical activity. In Unit 4, students explore energy, fitness and training concepts and principles to optimise personal performance.

Using only QCE Curriculum specific assessment material, students use ReviseOnline to develop skills to more effectively articulate responses and manage time pressure, leading to less stress and higher scores.

Structure of assessments (Unit 3&4)

  • Topic tests - 10 Multiple Choice (10 marks), 4 Short Answers (25 marks). Suggested time 50 min each

  • Full exams (UNIT 4 ONLY) - 10 Multiple Choice (10 marks), 3 Short Answers (36 marks), 1 Extended Answer (24 marks). Suggested time 2hr each
