WACE Literature

Subscribing to ReviseOnline WACE Literature course (Units 1&2 and Units 3&4) gives you access to an extensive range of revision material, which can deliver a significant boost to your ATAR score. WACE Literature is designed to give the student a better understanding of literary theory in cultural, historical and social contexts, interpreting texts using multi-dimensional perspectives. Unit 1&2 in Year 11 covers intertextuality and different ways of creating texts in social cultural and historical context, while the Year 12 (Units 3&4) course investigates the relationship between language and identity using advanced critical and analytical techniques.

Using only WA Curriculum specific assessment material, students use ReviseOnline to develop skills to more effectively articulate responses and manage time pressure, leading to less stress and higher scores.

Structure of assessments

  • Assessments -1 from 3 (25 marks). Suggested time 60 min each

  • Full exams - 1 from 3 Close reading (25 marks), 2 from 9 Extended response (50 marks). Suggested time 3hr each
